LPF Fund facilitates the flow of international ESG capital for green agriculture.

The signing ceremony of the comprehensive cooperation agreement between LPF Fund and Golden Gate BCE opens up a channel for accessing international green capital, promoting the development of sustainable agriculture.

Quenching the thirst for long-term capital.

On the afternoon of June 17th, in Ho Chi Minh City, LPF Fund (Vietnam) Limited and Golden Gate BCE (Netherlands , Singapore, and Vietnam ) held a signing ceremony for a “Comprehensive Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding”. This event marks an important step in establishing international financial cooperation mechanisms, aiming to attract ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) capital into the sustainable development ecosystem and agricultural product value chain in Vietnam.

With the strong shift towards a green and circular economy , Vietnam’s need to mobilize financial resources is enormous. In particular, to fulfill its commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050, the country requires massive capital for clean energy, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture programs. However, current reality shows that most domestic agricultural projects still face significant difficulties in accessing long-term funding.

Conversely, many international investors and financial funds are very interested in the Vietnamese market but face significant obstacles. They lack a suitable mechanism for accessing projects, assessing risks, managing cash flow, and ensuring transparency throughout the implementation process. This gap inadvertently creates a major “bottleneck,” slowing down the green transition process. In this context, the emergence of capable intermediary organizations like LPF Fund, which can connect, monitor, and manage ESG capital flows, becomes an urgent requirement.

Commenting on the strategic vision of this partnership, Mr. Huynh Quoc Khanh, Chairman of LPF Fund, said that the signing of the comprehensive cooperation memorandum with Golden Gate BCE is not simply a commercial cooperation activity, but also demonstrates a high level of consensus in promoting the connection of international financial resources to serve sustainable agricultural development. Mr. Khanh emphasized that this green capital will be prioritized for key programs aimed at reducing carbon emissions, enhancing competitiveness, and increasing the value of Vietnamese agricultural product chains in the new phase.

Unlike traditional investment models, LPF Fund aims to build a comprehensive green financial ecosystem, bringing together international investors, financial institutions, businesses, localities, cooperatives, and ESG experts. Firmly adhering to the philosophy of “legal transparency – the foundation for international ESG capital to enter Vietnam,” the fund focuses on standardizing its governance system according to international standards.

According to Mr. Huynh Quoc Khanh, this is the key to solving the problem of risk control and impact measurement, helping foreign investors feel secure in disbursing funds. This aspiration has been recognized when LPF Fund was included in the “Top 10 – Outstanding Brands in Asia-Pacific 2026” in Beijing and made a significant impact at the Vietnam-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Forum 2026 in Singapore.

From greening strategies to realizing the cocoa industry’s logistics chain.

Agriculture is the sector most severely affected by climate change, but it also holds the greatest potential for green transformation if properly invested in. While Vietnam possesses many advantages in terms of unique products and export capacity, the added value largely remains in raw materials. New international standards on traceability, circular economy, and emission reduction are gradually becoming mandatory requirements for entering demanding markets. Therefore, LPF Fund has chosen sustainable agriculture as its top priority. Projects focused on include: crop adaptation to natural disasters, circular agriculture, green logistics, deep processing, and carbon emission reduction models.

A prime example of the strategy to bring green capital into practice is the Vietnam Cocoa Industry Logistics Project, jointly promoted by LPF Fund. Although Vietnamese cocoa beans have been recognized by the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) as having a unique flavor (Fine Flavor Cocoa), the industry has yet to achieve its full potential due to a lack of comprehensive investment resources. The project aims to build a closed and sustainable value chain from raw material sourcing, procurement, fermentation, deep processing to export logistics infrastructure.

The company representative also stated that LPF Fund is actively connecting with domestic and international partners to mobilize green capital for this purpose. Focusing resources on logistics infrastructure, raw material areas, and traceability systems according to ESG standards not only solves the problem of internal development but also aims to create a modern agricultural model capable of enabling Vietnam’s cocoa industry to compete fairly in the global market.

According to Mr. Huynh Quoc Khanh, Vietnam does not lack potential projects or investment needs for development; the biggest shortcoming is the lack of reliable mechanisms to effectively connect international capital flows with actual projects. Therefore, through the signing of the agreement with Golden Gate BCE (Netherlands, Singapore, and Vietnam), the two sides will strengthen the sharing of ESG governance experience and deeply connect financial resources from Europe to emission reduction and circular economy projects in Vietnam. Once reliable connection mechanisms are established, global green capital will find its rightful destination, making a practical contribution to the country’s green growth strategy and sustainable economic integration journey.
